Question: What is an FTP folder?
Answer: Bats Designs uses its web sites with the use of FTP folders. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. You transfer your files/web pages from your computer and place them into the FTP folder for a given web site, they then are available online. If you are interested in having a web site through Bats Designs, it's essential you have an FTP folder.
Domain Name Transfers:
$30: A one time process fee.
Do you have a web site with someone else and want to switch to Bats Designs, but don't want to lose or change your domain address? You have the option for a 'Domain Name Transfer'. We can transfer the domain name over to Bats Designs through a process that takes 7-10 business days.

Personal E-mail Accounts:
$7: A yearly fee per each account.
Send and receive e-mail from any internet connected computer with 1&1 Webmail. It is IMAP and POP3 supported, included with a spam filter, e-mail forwarding, e-mail auto responding, and has 2 GB of mailbox space. You can now have an e-mail account @yourbusiness.com! You must have a domain name through Bats Designs to have a personal e-mail account. There is no limit on e-mail accounts per client. A screenshot of the mailbox is provided below.
Web Site design:

We do not have set prices for web design, thus we do not charge per hour. The overall price of your web site design will depend upon the amount of pages, the size of content, and overall design time to create. Based upon that, web page pricing begins at $75 for very basic and increases depending on the previously mentioned factors. We can work on a plan and outline that works for you.
We will stay in contact through email or phone during design FREE. You will constantly know the price range that your web site is in as it is being completed. There will be no surprises on your bill at the end of the designing period. We can do monthly payment plans or up front in the middle to end of the designing period. Bats Designs can include blog's into your web site, custom message boards, chat rooms, maps detailing your business's location, photo galleries, polls, and much more. We design using HTML and simple CSS coding. You are not limited with Bats Designs. If there is something that isn't listed that you are interested in, we can look into any possibilities. We take all of your feedback and no final copy is released without full revision by customer to ensure site satisfaction.
Maintenance plans: Whether you will need your web site updated daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly we can do it. There are maintenance fees that are included if Bats Designs helps maintain and update your web site. These fees start at $20 for yearly updates and increase as do the amount of updates required. We will bill you your maintenance fees in 3-6 month periods or a plan that fits you best.
Other Designing:
We offer much more designing possibilities including but not limited to graphic/logo design, power point presentations, animated banner ads for online use, or newspaper advertisement design. All of these are priced on a situational basis. Much like web site design, you will have every chance to revise and provide feedback until design satisfaction.
All in person diagnosis, assistance, or planning costs $25 an hour.
